Verdict

Muah AI does one thing the others do not: a real two-way phone call with a companion who stays in character. If that is what you want, it is the app that has it.

Two things should make you think first. Calls need the Ultra VIP plan at $99.99 a month. And in 2024 a breach exposed about 1.9 million email addresses together with the prompts people had typed. We rank it eleventh of twelve for those reasons. If you go ahead, use an email address that cannot be traced to you.

What it does well

• Two-way phone calls. You speak, she answers, in a safe or an NSFW mode that you pick before the call connects.
• Chat, voice and photos in one place. Text, voice notes and photo requests are all there.
• Works in any phone browser. There is nothing to install.

Where it falls short

• A serious breach. In 2024 about 1.9 million email addresses were exposed alongside chat prompts.
• Calls are expensive. They need Ultra VIP at $99.99 a month or $999 a year.
• Web only. Muah AI was removed from the App Store and Google Play.
• A thin free tier. It shows little of what the paid plans do.
• Prices are shown in the app. The site tells you to review the plan comparison, total price and billing period there before buying.

Pricing

These prices were checked in September 2026. On 8 October 2026 Muah AI's site showed no price list outside the app, so we could not read them again. In September the checkout offered yearly billing first, so check which period is selected before you pay.

What is free

A very limited free tier. Treat it as a look at the interface.

NSFW content

Muah AI allows uncensored chat, and calls can be set to an NSFW mode. It also advertises photo tools such as face swapping. Do not use any tool like that on a picture of a real person.

Is Muah AI safe?

It is the only app in our list with a breach like this that we know of. The 2024 breach matters because of what leaked together: an email address next to the things that person asked for. That can identify someone and embarrass or endanger them.

If you still want to use it:

1. Use a new email address that has no link to your name, work or other accounts.
2. Do not type anything you could not bear to see published. Assume a breach can happen again.
3. Keep real details out. No surname, employer, address or photos of yourself.
4. Check the billing period before paying, and set a reminder to cancel.
